The outpouring of interest in volunteering has been truly heartening, and we are grateful for every person who wants to help.

At this time, we are currently fully staffed with volunteers. As a small shelter, we want to ensure that every volunteer who comes in has clear direction, meaningful work, and the support they deserve. Adding additional shifts right now would make it difficult to provide the quality experience we strive for.

If you’re still eager to help, there are other ways to make a big impact beyond on-site volunteering. Fostering is always one of our greatest needs, especially for our larger dogs, who often benefit most from a home environment. Financial donations toward medical care or purchasing items from our wish list also directly support the animals in our care.

As volunteer schedules naturally shift over time, we’ll be sure to reopen opportunities and share an update. We truly appreciate your understanding and your willingness to support our work in whatever way you’re able.
