Appointments are recommended for dogs. Please call (206) 812-2737 or email buriencares@gmail.com to schedule. Walk-in meet-and-greets depend on staff and animal availability.
Please note that adoptions end 30 minutes before the shelter closes.
Appointments do not place dogs on hold. A dog may be adopted before your scheduled visit; if that happens, we will notify you.

What is included in the Adoption Fee?
Adoption fees provide medical, food, and shelter to our animals. When you adopt from us, you receive more than $700 of services.
**Adoptions are done on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Scheduling an appointment to meet a dog does not hold the dog for you; it may be adopted before your appointment. If that happens, you will be notified.
