Meet Piggie Smalls!
Piggie is a female pit mix, about 3 years old and 54 lbs, who came to CARES a stray. Nobody claimed this amazing girl, so now she's up for adoption and looking for her new family!
There are simply no words to describe just how awesomely dorky, adorable, friendly, goofy, and sweet miss Piggie is! She seems to love everyone she meets instantly, and greets you with a whole-body tail wag so enthusiastic it darn near lifts her butt off the ground! She is totally a 'class clown,' and seems to be constantly wiggling, rolling, wagging, and being just an all-around wacky exuberant bundle of the happiest doggie energy! She gives great snuggles and kisses, and loves a good lap to lay in for belly rubs.
Piggie doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in her body, and has done well with most the other pooches she's met here (she has done best with the calmer, more relaxed dogs). She has even done great with the kids and young volunteers she's met here. She seems to be totally housebroken, and hasn't had a single accident in her kennel here. She loves her walks--particularly if there's a good patch of grass or dirt she can roll around in for a few minutes--although we're working with her on her leash manners, as she can be a bit of a puller.
Piggie has LOTS of healthy energy, so will need a family that can give her plenty of daily exercise, attention, and affection, and continue to work with her on her leash manners and doggie etiquette, so she can continue to grow as a happy, well-adjusted pup.
Piggie checked out fine at our vet, and we can't think of anything at all 'bad' to say about her! Trust us, you will fall head-over-heels the moment you meet her, so stop into CARES or call about meeting Piggie Smalls today!
Piggie's adoption fee is $200. That includes her spay surgery, flea treatment, deworming, microchip (with free registration), and up-to-date vaccinations.
