Zeus (6yo) and Shiloh (4yo) are two male chihuahua mixes who were surrendered to CARES. Now these little cuties are available for adoption and eager to find their forever home!
Zeus and Shiloh have been together for about 4 years, and are very bonded, so we are wanting to find them a home together.
They were both very timid and shy their first few days here, but once they got a little more comfortable and used to us, they opened up and their true personalities started to show.
Both of them are VERY affectionate and friendly. They do great on-leash, love their walks, and have done well with all our volunteers (however, they do not do well with small children).
Zeus seems to naturally be a little more reserved than Shiloh, but loves to give kisses and get head scratches, and will whine indignantly (and adorably) when he feels like he hasn't gotten quite enough loves and attention. When he wags his tail, his whole butt gets into the action and he almost lifts himself off the ground!
Shiloh is a total little ham, and loves to "dance" for treats. He is very skilled at walking on his two back legs! He is a little more outgoing than Zeus, and is the first of the two to warm up to new people usually. They have both done well with the other dogs they've met here, and came from a home with other small dogs.
There is not much "bad" to say about these two little cuties, and they make such an adorable couple! If you're interested in giving these two their forever home together, stop into CARES or call about meeting Zeus and Shiloh today!
The adoption fee for Zeus and Shiloh (together) is $150. They are neutered, flea treated, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped.
