Lily is a female Jack Russell terrier mix, about 12 years old and 27 pounds, who came to CARES as a stray. No one ever came to claim this loveable older gal, so now we're looking to find her new forever home!
Lily is just about as gentle and sweet as can be--she is on the older side, but still has lots of spunk and curiosity. She only barks when she wants attention, and loves being with her people. While she spends a lot of her time just relaxing comfortably and napping, she loves her walks and does excellent on-leash. She seems to be fully housebroken. She has done fantastic with all the other dogs she's met, and so far has even seemed fine with the couple kitties she's met.
Lily does have a few age-related health issues, so we are looking for a family that can not only give her tons of love and attention (and is preferably experienced with older dogs), but who would also be prepared for possible future veterinary expenses. Little Lily is so worth it! Our vet discovered that she has a heart issue, which she is on medication for, and will be receiving further testing soon to determine what exactly is going on. She will also need some dental work in the near future.
Lily is just about the sweetest, friendliest, most loving little furbaby you'd ever want to meet, and we want to find a great home for her to live out her senior years with all the comfort and care she deserves! So stop into CARES or call about meeting Lily today!
Lily is spayed, flea treated, dewormed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped.
