Meet Koko!
Koko is a female pit mix, about 3 years old and 75 pounds, who was surrendered to CARES. Now this sweet goofy girl is eager to find her new forever family--maybe it's you!
Koko is an all-around young, energetic, super-sweet girl who loves all kinds of people. She has a very goofy, zany, adorable personality. She will need a family that can give her plenty of daily exercise, affection, and attention. Although she does well with other dogs in certain settings, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only pet, as she gets jealous if she has to share attention with other pups, and is protective of toys with other dogs. She is fully housebroken, and hasn't had a single accident here.
Koko was in a foster home for a few weeks after being surrendered, and this is what they had to say: "Koko is a sweet, loving, playful ball of energy. She is a giant puppy and she is ready to become your best friend. However, she wants to be your only best friend! Koko isn't quite sure how she feels about cats...[she] is fabulous on leash and loves to walk around the neighborhood and run around the back yard--she's so fast! She also loves to plop down on the couch with you as soon as you come inside. She would do best in a home where she is the only pet. She loves toys, but doesn't like to share. She'd do great in a setting with a large backyard! She's okay with most large dogs but prefers them to be mild in temper and do not have toys around! She is completely potty trained and knows how to sit and shake..."
If Koko sounds like she might be a good fit, stop into CARES or call about meeting this awesome furbaby today!
Koko's adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay surgery, flea treatment, microchip (with free registration), and up-to-date shots.
