Buttercup is a female chihuahua mix, about 3 years old and 9.5 pounds, who was brought to CARES after being rescued from a neglect situation. Now this adorable little lovebug is looking for her forever family!
Buttercup has done great with all our staff and volunteers, young and old, and is very sweet and affectionate. She LOVES snuggles and pets, does great on-leash, and does not seem to be much of a barker or yapper. She has also done great with all the dogs she's met here, and her previous family reported that she does fine with kitties, too! She seems to be housebroken, and has not had any accidents in her kennel here.
Buttercup would probably do best in a calm home without too much commotion, and where she would not be left alone for too long during the day. She would probably love a home with the right canine buddy to keep her company. She checked out fine at our vet, with the exception of damage to one ear as the result of abuse in her original home, and a mild skin issue which she is on medication for.
This little lady will make an awesome, loving addition to pretty much any home, so stop into CARES or call about meeting Buttercup today!
Buttercup's adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay surgery, flea treatment, microchip (w/free registration), and up-to-date vaccinations. Additonally, Burien residents will need to purchase a city pet license at the time of adoption ($30).
