Boyt is a male terrier mix, about 2-3 years old, and 15 pounds, who came to CARES as a stray. No owner ever came to claim this loveable little rascal, so now he's available for adoption and can't wait to meet his new family! Maybe it's you!
Boyt is EXTREMELY friendly, and pretty much loves every single person he meets as soon as he meets them! He has done amazing with all our staff and volunteers, young and old. He is very excited and playful with other dogs, although his energy can be a bit much for some of the older, calmer dogs. He does excellent on-leash, and is (usually!) very responsive and obedient (although he's also easily distracted at times by new sights and smells!). He doesn't seem to be much of a barker, except in his kennel, and seems to be housebroken.
Boyt is a total little ball of adorable energy and affection, and loves more than anything to be with people. He will need a family that can give him plenty of daily exercise, attention, and snuggly kisses! He checked out fine at our vet, and has many many years of love and companionship to give.
If you're looking for a sweet, scrappy, goofy little fur baby to add to the family, stop into CARES or call about meeting Boyt today!
Boyt's adoption fee is $200, which includes his neuter surgery, flea treatment, deworming, microchip (with free registration), and up-to-date vaccinations.
