Meet Blitz!
Blitz is a male husky, about 8 years old and 56 pounds, who was surrendered to CARES. Now this gorgeous boy is looking for his new forever family!
Besides being uber-handsome, Blitz has a great friendly, goofy personality. He can be a little timid at first with new people, but warms up quickly. His previous family described him as a “happy, energetic dog; great with people.”
Blitz is a new surrender, so we are still getting to know him, but he seems to do great on-leash and loves his walks. Even though he’s 8, he has lots of healthy energy and loves to play, and acts like a much younger dog most of the time. He doesn’t seem to be much of a barker, but does like to whine adorably when he feels he’s being ignored or wants something (usually a treat or a belly rub!).
Per his previous family, Blitz does not do so well with small animals (cats, small dogs, rabbits, etc.). He does seem to do well with most bigger dogs. Additionally, small kids are a no-no. He would probably do best with a family experienced with the breed, and who can give him TONS of daily exercise, attention, and affection to keep him happy and healthy.
If Blitz sounds like he might be a good fit for you, stop into CARES or call about meeting him today! He is an AWESOME boy!
Blitz’s adoption fee is $150. He is neutered, flea treated, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.
