Burien Animal Control
C.A.R.E.S. is the Animal Care & Control Authority for the City of Burien, WA, and as such, our primary goals are public safety and the welfare of the city's domestic animal residents, as well as enforcing the relevant laws of Burien, King County, and Washington State.
Our experienced and well-trained Animal Control Officers (ACOs) are all longtime Burien residents, personally invested in the community, and hold certifications from--among others--the Washington Animal Control Association (WACA), the National Animal Control Association (NACA), and the Washington Federation of Animal Care & Control Agencies.
