Cecil is a male pit mix, about 3 years old and 65 pounds, who was seized by our Animal Control Officers from a neglect situation. Now this loveable goofball is eager to find his new family--maybe it's you!
Cecil is very energetic, and loves his walks and play time. He loves chasing balls and rough housing with toys and his people. He seems to be housebroken and does well in his kennel at night. He has a bit of the "class clown" personality, and loves being the center of attention, and can be adorably vocal when he feels he's being ignored.
Cecil does great with all kinds of people, although he can get pretty rambunctious and jumpy when he's playing, so we recommend he not go to a home with small children. Cecil doesn't seem to do well with other dogs at all, so he will need to go to a home with no other pooches. He also does not do well with cats.
Cecil still has a lot of healthy puppy energy, and is very intelligent and eager to please, so will need a family that can give him plenty of daily exercise, attention and love.
If you're looking to add a feisty, funny, loyal furball to the family, stop into CARES or call about meeting Cecil today!
Cecil's adoption fee is $160, which includes his neuter surgery, flea treatments, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchip. Additionally, Burien residents will need to purchase a city pet license at the time of adoption ($20).
